Carolyn Forte is the Business Operations Manager for the San Diego Sagemark office and is a FINRA registered principal.She is responsible for all office management issues including office financial reporting, and office support staff. She also handles the compliance and licensing responsibilities of the office.
Carolyn began her career with CIGNA Financial Advisors in San Diego in 1986 as a planner assistant. In 1994, she was promoted to Compliance Manager for the CIGNA Southern California Mega Region, overseeing compliance and licensing for four large planning offices. She held the position through the Lincoln acquisition in 1998. With the breakup of the Southern California region in 2000, Carolyn became the Operations Manager in San Diego responsible for finance, compliance, HR, operations and licensing. In 2005, she was named the Business Operations Manager for the San Diego RPO.
Carolyn is a graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara with a degree in geology. (Her daughter, Michaela, currently attends UCSB.) She lives in San Diego where she enjoys spending time with her two children, Michaela and Connor, and volunteering at the Humane Society.
